Join us at the 24th Annual Palm Springs Modernism Show

First Wave Development proudly sponsors the 24th Annual Palm Springs Modernism Show held during Modernism Week, February 16-19, 2023.

The show presents the best vintage 20th-century design and compelling 21st-century contemporary art and design. 130 national and international exhibitors are featured during the event.

First Wave Development has several events and demonstrations planned throughout the show featuring its products and partners.

Tour the Modular Home

The new modular home featuring ZS2 Technologies Magnesium Structural Insulated Panels (MSIPS) and DIRTT interiors will be displayed at the Palm Springs Convention Center entrance under the canopy of William Pereira’s Palm Springs Convention Center.

The space will be open each day of the show at the following times:

• Saturday, February 17: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Sunday, February 18: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm     
• Monday, February 19: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

First Wave is excited to have Modern Drama, Tidelli Patio Furniture, and Ken Sugimoto contributing the furnishings and artwork to showcase the possibilities of the modular home.

Watch a live demonstration of ZS2 Technologies’ fire-resistant MSIPS at the booth, which will be featured daily at the show. 

Keynote Speaker and First Wave Development Partner Andrew Pedrick

You are invited to a keynote lecture by First Wave Development partner Andrew Pedrick, CEO and Founder of McTique Architects, which will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, February 17th, in the Palm Springs Modernism Lecture Hall located in the show lobby. The lecture is included free with admission to the show.

Opening Night Party Benefiting Modernism Week

The event kicks off with an opening night gala and party. This highly sought-after ticket includes a full open bar, hors-d'oeuvres, live music, a show catalog, complimentary valet parking, and the opportunity to preview the show before it opens to the public.
